Blending two families with eight children total can be challenging, but with God's help and a sense of humor it can be done. This is one grateful mom's attempt to capture some of the special moments along the way and show how God can turn two separate families into one beautiful blessing...

Blueberries
We also got to pick some of Aunt Jackie's blueberries! It took a lot longer to fill the bucket but I kept reminding myself how good blueberry pancakes, muffins and turnovers were going to be.
We had turnovers and ice cream the first night and blueberry cake the second night. We haven't had the pancakes yet but we will. We put a bunch away in the freezer. I think it was around 19 pints so we will be enjoying them for quite some time.
Thanks for checking on me Liz! I don't scrap book, but I do a lot of other crafty things. I hope you're having a good summer, are you out of school right now?
The blueberries in this picture are awesome. Mike made the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had!!! after living in Maine that's the best compliment I can give. Thanks Abi for asking for pancakes. Little did you know...
